Camp rules and practical information
 

The manager’s instructions must be followed. If questions arise in connection with the unit or conditions on the campsite, the manager’s decision is final. Violation of the following rules may result in immediate expulsion from the campsite.

 

CHIP CARD

Upon arrival you will receive a chip card, which serves as a key card for bathrooms and for the entrance barrier. If you lose the card, go straight to the shop/reception, and have the card deactivated to prevent misuse. Your chip card is personal to you and may not be used to let in other guests.

 

BARRIER AND CAR

The barriers are closed during the hours 10PM to 7AM. During this period driving on the campsite is not allowed. Please remember that the maximum speed is 10 km/h at the campsite. Follow roads and paths and respect the privacy of your fellow campers. Only one car per camp pitch is allowed. A second car must be parked in the parking lot. Charging of Electric cars, hybrid cars etc. is not allowed on the campsite. You can charge the car at the parking lot. 

 

FIRE HAZARD

When positioning your caravan and awning, please observe the fire distance of 3 meters to the next caravan. Electric heat in the awning is NOT permitted.

DEPARTURE

Check in time from 2PM. Check out before 11AM.

The unit must be vacated by 11AM on the day of departure – in tidy and clean conditions. ​​​

If you want to make a quick stop overnight, you have two choices,

​

• Between 8PM and 10AM you can camp outside the entrance barrier without electricity. Extra fee for admission to bathroom, water supply, and to get rid of sewage water.

• If you want to stay overnight within the barrier you can do it on the same terms as the other guests which give you admission to using all the facilities. Furthermore, you can choose a comfort pitch with electricity, water and drainage. For further information, see under Prices.

BONFIRE AND BARBECUING

Bonfires are not allowed (only by permission from the camp manager).

Barbecuing is allowed at the campsite – unsell there is a notice prohibiting this. Please remember the distance to tents, caravans, cabins etc. Single-use barbecues must not stand directly on the grass.

 

KEEP THE UNIT TIDY AND CLEAN

Clean areas are a delight to the eyes, so please put paper and other waste materials into the bin. The waste disposal station is for household waste only. Bags for food waste is available at the store.

Dogs must be kept on a leash and walked in the dog yard or outside the campsite. Please use bags for dog droppings.

 

QUIET BETWEEN 11PM AND 7AM

It must be quiet at the campsite between 11PM and 7AM, and you must always show consideration and respect for other people at the campsite. Music and other loud sounds must not be audible outside your own tent, caravan, or cabin. 

 

The playgrounds are open from 8Am to 10PM.

WIRELESS INTERNET

At Marielyst Ny Camping site wireless internet has been set up.

​

To use the network, you will need to bring your own computer, phone, or tablet.

​

We cannot guarantee that the signal covers the entire campsite. If the connection is not good, feel free to sit in the living room by the kitchen or in the activity room where you can connect to the network.

Internet is free.

​

WATER POST

Water pumps must not be used for the disposal of wastewater. Wastewater should be emptied into the slop sinks in the chemical toilets.
